This is painting #9 in a series of 30 Paintings in 30 Days. This painting is symbolic of the Holy Spirit and how it works in our lives. The wind goes where it wills. The faceless woman in the painting is standing and feeling the effects of the wind all around her. She is surrounded by color and wind.
About Deborah Nell
I have been painting on and off since the age of eight. I'm a native of Southern California and moved to Pennsylvania in 1998. I obtained my B.A. in Design from UCLA in 1981. I'm an intuitive painter and I work primarily on Yupo paper (a slick, synthetic paper which lends itself to much experimentaion) with acrylic inks, watercolor and acrylic paint. I see my painting process as an act of worshipping God. I don't know what I'm going to paint when I start, but I trust God to guide me.
