Thank you for your positive comments on my work. I love the series that you have created. They are very touching and I am especially drawn to the textures.

Artist's Description

The artist was ready to give up on this painting and start over. She took her spray bottle and sprayed over the woman's shoulder and saw the man's arm holding her from behind. The painting came back to life.

About Deborah Nell

Deborah Nell

I have been painting on and off since the age of eight. I'm a native of Southern California and moved to Pennsylvania in 1998. I obtained my B.A. in Design from UCLA in 1981. I'm an intuitive painter and I work primarily on Yupo paper (a slick, synthetic paper which lends itself to much experimentaion) with acrylic inks, watercolor and acrylic paint. I see my painting process as an act of worshipping God. I don't know what I'm going to paint when I start, but I trust God to guide me. I listen to Christian music while painting and work intuitively until I see something emerging. I then further define it. Thank you for visiting my site. I hope you enjoy viewing my work.
