This is painting #24 in a series of 30 acrylic pour paintings in 30 Days. I saw this man and his dog in the wet paint as I was creating the pour. After it dried, I gave further detail to the man and dog. Makes a great image for a man who loves his dog.
About Deborah Nell
I have been painting on and off since the age of eight. I'm a native of Southern California and moved to Pennsylvania in 1998. I obtained my B.A. in Design from UCLA in 1981. I'm an intuitive painter and I work primarily on Yupo paper (a slick, synthetic paper which lends itself to much experimentaion) with acrylic inks, watercolor and acrylic paint. I see my painting process as an act of worshipping God. I don't know what I'm going to paint when I start, but I trust God to guide me.
