This painting was painted shortly after visiting my daughter and husband who are expecting their first child. It is painted on Yupo paper with acyrlic ink and acyrlic paint. There is something very special about waiting in anticipation for a child to be born.
About Deborah Nell
I have been painting on and off since the age of eight. I'm a native of Southern California and moved to Pennsylvania in 1998. I obtained my B.A. in Design from UCLA in 1981. I'm an intuitive painter and I work primarily on Yupo paper (a slick, synthetic paper which lends itself to much experimentaion) with acrylic inks, watercolor and acrylic paint. I see my painting process as an act of worshipping God. I don't know what I'm going to paint when I start, but I trust God to guide me.
