This painting started as a demo for a private art class I gave. In the painting a man is offering his heart to the woman he loves. The couple is faceless and so this could be any couple. It is painted on Yupo paper with acrylic ink and acrylic paint.
About Deborah Nell
I have been painting on and off since the age of eight. I'm a native of Southern California and moved to Pennsylvania in 1998. I obtained my B.A. in Design from UCLA in 1981. I'm an intuitive painter and I work primarily on Yupo paper (a slick, synthetic paper which lends itself to much experimentaion) with acrylic inks, watercolor and acrylic paint. I see my painting process as an act of worshipping God. I don't know what I'm going to paint when I start, but I trust God to guide me.
