This is a textured painting which was obtained by applying modeling paste on stretched canvas. After it dried, I painted the textured painting with acrylic paint. In the painting a lion and lamb are resting together. There is complete peace between them. This speaks of the end of time when the lamb will lay down with the lion and there will be peace.
I have been painting on and off since the age of eight. I'm a native of Southern California and moved to Pennsylvania in 1998. I obtained my B.A. in Design from UCLA in 1981. I'm an intuitive painter and I work primarily on Yupo paper (a slick, synthetic paper which lends itself to much experimentaion) with acrylic inks, watercolor and acrylic paint. I see my painting process as an act of worshipping God. I don't know what I'm going to paint when I start, but I trust God to guide me.
