This is painting #2 in a series of 30 Paintings in 30 Days for 2018. It began as an acrylic pour painting and I later added detail to it after it dried. It speaks of the race we run as believers. We want to finish our race well.
I have been painting on and off since the age of eight. I'm a native of Southern California and moved to Pennsylvania in 1998. I obtained my B.A. in Design from UCLA in 1981. I'm an intuitive painter and I work primarily on Yupo paper (a slick, synthetic paper which lends itself to much experimentaion) with acrylic inks, watercolor and acrylic paint. I see my painting process as an act of worshipping God. I don't know what I'm going to paint when I start, but I trust God to guide me. I listen to Christian music while painting and work intuitively until I see something emerging. I then further define it. Thank you for visiting my site. I hope you enjoy viewing my work.
