This is painting #22 in a series of 30 Acrylic Pour Paintings in 30 Days. In this painting is Moses as he begins his journey. I wanted to leave it up to the viewers imagination as to where he is going. It could be to Egypt after he has seen the burning bush. It could be into the desert after freeing God's people out of Egypt.
I have been painting on and off since the age of eight. I'm a native of Southern California and moved to Pennsylvania in 1998. I obtained my B.A. in Design from UCLA in 1981. I'm an intuitive painter and I work primarily on Yupo paper (a slick, synthetic paper which lends itself to much experimentaion) with acrylic inks, watercolor and acrylic paint. I see my painting process as an act of worshipping God. I don't know what I'm going to paint when I start, but I trust God to guide me. I listen to Christian music while painting and work intuitively until I see something emerging. I then further define it. Thank you for visiting my site. I hope you enjoy viewing my work.
