This painting began before the Corona pandemic in the US broke out. I feel it speaks of the transformation that is occurring within so many people as our hearts are being transformed. Our first love for God and one another is being rekindled and is getting ready to be expressed out in the world. You may see other things in this painting as well. The butterfly symbolizes transformation.
I have been painting on and off since the age of eight. I'm a native of Southern California and moved to Pennsylvania in 1998. I obtained my B.A. in Design from UCLA in 1981. I'm an intuitive painter and I work primarily on Yupo paper (a slick, synthetic paper which lends itself to much experimentaion) with acrylic inks, watercolor and acrylic paint. I see my painting process as an act of worshipping God. I don't know what I'm going to paint when I start, but I trust God to guide me.
