This painting was painted live at a woman's tea in York, PA in the midst of worship. It is entitled "It Is Well With My Soul" The woman in the painting is able to look to God for her strength during the storm that surrounds her. She is anchored in His love for her.
About Deborah Nell
I have been painting on and off since the age of eight. I'm a native of Southern California and moved to Pennsylvania in 1998. I obtained my B.A. in Design from UCLA in 1981. I'm an intuitive painter and I work primarily on Yupo paper (a slick, synthetic paper which lends itself to much experimentaion) with acrylic inks, watercolor and acrylic paint. I see my painting process as an act of worshipping God. I don't know what I'm going to paint when I start, but I trust God to guide me.
