This is painting #9 in a series of 30 Paintings in 30 Days for 2018. It is an acrylic pour painting with a bit of detail added after it dried. It speaks of the spiritual battle we engage in when we take steps to do what God has called us to do. It also speaks of the battle that is won when we pray.
I have been painting on and off since the age of eight. I'm a native of Southern California and moved to Pennsylvania in 1998. I obtained my B.A. in Design from UCLA in 1981. I'm an intuitive painter and I work primarily on Yupo paper (a slick, synthetic paper which lends itself to much experimentaion) with acrylic inks, watercolor and acrylic paint. I see my painting process as an act of worshipping God. I don't know what I'm going to paint when I start, but I trust God to guide me.
