This painting is painted on Yupo paper with acrylic ink and acrylic paint. It depicts symbolically the reality that Jesus love is like a banner over us. It protects and covers us. It is represented here as his blood that he shed on the cross for us.
About Deborah Nell
I have been painting on and off since the age of eight. I'm a native of Southern California and moved to Pennsylvania in 1998. I obtained my B.A. in Design from UCLA in 1981. I'm an intuitive painter and I work primarily on Yupo paper (a slick, synthetic paper which lends itself to much experimentaion) with acrylic inks, watercolor and acrylic paint. I see my painting process as an act of worshipping God. I don't know what I'm going to paint when I start, but I trust God to guide me. Really beautiful but it looks like there is a water mark on the face. I was going to call and exchange it but when I went back to the posted canvas online, I could see the same mark. I guess it's just the way it is. I love her artwork.
