This is an embellished acrylic pour painting. The paint was poured onto the canvas as I looked for an image in the paint. The final image was created by adding details to the painting after it dried. It is painted on gallery wrapped canvas and measures 24"x30"x1".
I have been painting on and off since the age of eight. I'm a native of Southern California and moved to Pennsylvania in 1998. I obtained my B.A. in Design from UCLA in 1981. I'm an intuitive painter and I work primarily on Yupo paper (a slick, synthetic paper which lends itself to much experimentaion) with acrylic inks, watercolor and acrylic paint. I see my painting process as an act of worshipping God. I don't know what I'm going to paint when I start, but I trust God to guide me.
