There comes a time in our lives for the Harvest. All the seeds we have planted and the seeds we have watered and cultivated are ready for harvest. Sometimes the harvest takes longer than it should. If we are patient, the harvest comes. The joy it brings is worth the wait. This is a mixed media painting on stretched canvas and is finished in oil.
I have been painting on and off since the age of eight. I'm a native of Southern California and moved to Pennsylvania in 1998. I obtained my B.A. in Design from UCLA in 1981. I'm an intuitive painter and I work primarily on Yupo paper (a slick, synthetic paper which lends itself to much experimentaion) with acrylic inks, watercolor and acrylic paint. I see my painting process as an act of worshipping God. I don't know what I'm going to paint when I start, but I trust God to guide me. I listen to Christian music while painting and work intuitively until I see something emerging. I then further define it. Thank you for visiting my site. I hope you enjoy viewing my work.
